Passengers to have choice in buying priority through security
Published: 14 November 2008
London Luton Airport will shortly commence the necessary building works for a Security Priority Lane at the airport. This will give passengers the choice of taking a priority lane to the security search point.
Natalie Raper, London Luton Airport Marketing Director, said " Although investment has enabled us to reduce queue times for all passengers, we are aware that some passengers would value a way of guaranteeing the quickest possible progress to the security search point. We are therefore introducing the Priority Lane option and will be making a charge of £3.00 per passenger for this service; only passengers that choose to use the Priority Lane will be charged. By offering a choice of options we can provide an airport experience to suit the needs of all passengers."
Once complete, passengers will be able to purchase tickets for the new Priority Lane using kiosks in the terminal.
Priority Lane is the latest new service to be introduced at
London Luton. Others include new and improved car parking
products and services with Priority Parking drop off / collection
adjacent to the terminal building and short term car parking just a
short walk from the terminal building.
London Luton will soon benefit from new and improved road access to
the airport with a direct link to Junction 10 of the M1 motorway
and improvements on the approach to the airport short term car park
and drop off zone.
